Mechanic spanner ring

Today I made this fun quirky ring to suit a mechanic, engineer, handyman etc.

It is 23 mm internal diameter, made from 1mm nickel-silver with a copper spanner and a brass nut and bolt.It has a slight excess of solder but I'm pretty happy with it.I still haven't found the perfect solder. Some are too gluggy and some are too thin or the wrong colour. With this type of design it's pretty near impossible to get the parts to fit very closely.I think a ring roller might help. It would certainly speed things up and help give a professional finish.

The pendant I put on ebay looks like it's not going anywhere.I just opened an account (HammeredHearts)with Artfire.com so I will put that pendant, this ring and a few other things on there and see how I go.
It is hard to sell much jewellery at the moment, at least in this style/price range.I might have to try to go up market and see if it's any better there. There is just so much jewellery out there, much of which wouldn't return more than $5 per hour of the makers time.
